As Thailand has been able to handle COVID-19 effectively with zero in-country case for the past several weeks and the country begins to travel again, Devasom Khao Lak Resort and Devasom Hua Hin Resort now resume our operations with enhanced standards so our guests can stay with confidence.
I would like to provide updates and introduce you to some of the measures we are taking to safeguard our guests’ health, safety and wellbeing.
WE ARE BACK | JUNE 19th
Devasom Khao Lak Beach Resort & Villas resumes operations on JUNE 19th, in accordance to the relaxed Thailand government rules which now allow and encourage domestic travel.
With Thailand’s strong measures to fight COVID-19, the country has effectively eliminated in-country case to zero for the past weeks. In particular, Khao Lak destination and Devasom resorts have been safe and well guarded – with zero COVID-19 case so far.
We are glad to be back and to welcome guests to our beach resort again. We look forward to the days international travel can resume and to welcome our international guests again in the near future.
STAY WITH CONFIDENCE
During COVID-19 pandemic situation, Devasom enhances hygiene excellence to protect our guests. We apply heightened hygiene and safety measures across our entire operations, and we are following international health and safety guidelines to protect you without impacting the quality of your stay.
PRE-ARRIVAL OZONE TREATMENT
At Devasom resorts, every guest room and villa gets treated with Ozone sanitization before each guest arrival. We implement Ozone disinfection protocol with proper, research-based concentration and ventilation time to sanitize all areas and surfaces including the air conditioning units of guest rooms and villas. This ozone treatment, along with enhanced cleaning protocols with hospital-grade disinfectant, effectively maximizes hygiene safety and wellbeing for Devasom guests.
CERTIFIED HYGIENE SAFETY STANDARDS
Your safety is our priority. Our enhanced hygiene safety standards have been certified by the following accreditations:
‘See a doctor if you have a fever’ POLICY
During the COVID-19 pandemic situation, we are doing our best to safeguard our customers’ hygiene safety. During Check-in, all guests will be required to have temperature checked and answer health questionnaire. Guest with a fever and at least one of respiratory symptoms (such as cough, runny nose, sore throat, or shortness of breath) will be declined from entering the hotel; in accordance to Thailand Hotel Act 2004 Section 39.(3).
Before travel, if you have a fever, please see a doctor and obtain a medical certificate issued within 48 hours prior to arrival. Rescheduling your stay due to sickness is possible by notifying hotel in advance with a valid medical certificate before arrival date.
During your stay, if you feel that you may have a fever, please call our guest service immediately and we will assist you.
OUR COMMUNITY IS OUR HOME
We reach out to support our local community. Since the beginning of the outbreak, Devasom has provided scarce hygiene supplies, alcohol sanitizing gel and face masks to local healthcare workers, police force and temples in the community. We donate foods and fund medical supplies for Takuapa Hospital. During this outbreak that leaves millions without job, we add to our priorities to protect our employees as well as to support local community. Part of the income we received will be used to provide support to the resort’s local community.

As we welcome back more guests, I am also pleased to share that we continue to offer extra flexibility with Devasom’s FLEXIBLE DATE scheme so you can book directly at Devasom Khao Lak with confidence. We understand how important it is for you to have more flexibility when planning your trip, especially nowadays when sometime there could be change to flights and travel rules. When you book direct with us, Devasom Khao Lak will allow date change for your stay by simply notifying Hotel 7 days (or more) prior to your booking arrival date* {*21 days or more for December to March}, and the date change fees will all be waived, only the difference in room rates apply, if there is any. This scheme is applicable for all direct bookings for stay periods within year 2020 and 2021
