From May 1-11, 2025, Devasom Khao Lak Beach Resort invites you to the Devasom Sol Festival, the soulful celebration that brings together genuine holistic wellness experiences and mindful entertainment to the luxury resort’s ground by the Andaman sea.
Named after ‘sol’, the Latin word for sun, this festival isn’t just another wellness retreat—it’s an invitation to experience wellness through yoga, sound healing, arts workshops and mindful entertainment – thoughtfully curated for everyone, whether you are a dedicated wellness enthusiast or just beginning your journey. The festival brings together 28 distinguished practitioners whose expertise shapes experiences that are both profound and accessible, all unfolding between the resort’s sunset beach and tranquil lagoon.
Festival Highlights
The 2025 festival showcases an exceptional lineup of wellness and artistic talents. Highlights include yoga with Jonas Westring and Ricardo Martin and Joy Kunkanit Phrombut, culinary experiences with Chef Dylan Eitharong, innovative holistic sessions like the Plant Symphony Soundscape by Rhythm of Sati, and intimate performances by Thai indie artist Phum Viphurit. Guests can also immerse themselves in traditional Japanese Kintsugi workshops, experience the healing vibrations of Himalayan and crystal bowl meditations, or float weightlessly during an Aqua Sound Bath. With 4-6 daily sessions accommodating 10-20 participants each, complemented by evening mindful entertainment performances or community drum circle, each day offers a perfect balance of structure and spontaneity.
These are some highlights of the festival program, containing over 90 hours of experiences across five activity pillars:
• Yoga: Cultivate inner peace through diverse yoga traditions, Therapeutic Yoga with Jonas Westring, Restorative Yoga with Ricardo Martin and Joy Kunkanit Phrombut, and Gentle Flow with Ta Kasitipradit.
• Holistic Sessions: Nurture self-care through Mind Trip Meditation and Sound Experience by Rhythm of Sati and Aqua Sound Bath by Devasom. Private Reiki and Crystal Bowl Sound Bath sessions by Ta Kasitipradit, and a range of Kid’s Program activities, fostering connection in intimate settings.
• Workshops: Deepen your practice with Kintsugi Workshop by Jib Sumanatsya Voharn, Zen Garden and Chocolate Ritual by Cacao Ceremony Bangkok, and Creating with Nature Workshop curated by EQ.
• Culinary: Savour Special Tasting Menus by Chef Dylan Eitharong of Haawm, featuring mindfully created cuisine that celebrates local ingredients and sustainable practices.
• Mindful Entertainment: Experience healing music with natural surroundings through Acoustic Sessions by Phum Viphurit and Plant Symphony soundscape. Explore local cultures with Khao Lak’s golden shores and turquoise Andaman Sea as your backdrop with Nang Thalung workshop by Bannag Thalung Suchart Subsin, and a seaside cinema collaborated with Documentary Club.
