An Upcycling Workshop with Eventide at Kala Terra
Caring for the coastline is in Devasom Khao Lak’s nature. On Sunday, 29 March 2026, we welcomed Eventide — a Thai brand that collects what the ocean leaves behind and turns it into handmade accessories worth wearing.
In one hour, guests slowed down, worked with their hands, and designed their own bracelets from fishing rope, bottle caps, beads, and stones gathered from Thailand’s coastlines. The materials were remade under the guidance of Eventide artisans into meaningful, wearable pieces. Their practice is steady and hands-on — collecting, sorting, and reworking what washes up on the coastline.
The session was kept to a small group — a quiet hour together, away from screens, spent making something by hand. The kind of afternoon we’d want a guest to remember: unrushed and intentional.
About Kala Terra Art & Craft Studio
Kala Terra is the creative studio within Devasom Khao Lak. Its name comes from the Sanskrit kala (skilled craft) and the Latin terra (earth) — a studio built to bridge traditional artistry and contemporary making. Through the year, it welcomes artists for workshops that connect guests to local craft, culture, and the Khao Lak coastline.
