Supporting local communities – Devasom Hua Hin aims to support the local community wherever we operate. This was demonstrated during the global response to the pandemic, which left millions unemployed. Devasom Hua Hin provided voluntary hands, food, and hygiene supplies to local healthcare workers, public hospitals, and temples in the community.

Devasom Scholarship – Our annual, non-binding scholarship awarded to a student from a local school within the province where one of Devasom’s resorts is located covers the full tuition fees of an entire bachelor’s degree program in any field. We believe in the importance of education and that by providing access to higher education for local young talents, they can further develop themselves and contribute meaningfully to the communities they come from.

At Devasom Hua Hin, our care for the community extends beyond people alone. We regularly donate used towels and linens to local animal hospitals and shelters in Hua Hin, supporting the care and recovery of animals in need and contributing to the wellbeing of the wider ecosystem we share.

Locally sourced ingredients – To nurture the growth of local businesses which help to support the residents, we always source quality produce locally, including from nearby farms and fishing communities. The freshness of local ingredients and the flavors of traditional recipes that have been handed down have also earned praise and recognition for our dining venues.

Employing local residents – Devasom Hua Hin’s strength in hospitality is shaped by a dedicated local team who understand the rhythm, character, and warmth of this seaside town. We hire and develop local talents because we believe in their potential. Throughout the years of the pandemic lockdowns, we made every effort to care for and support our team, standing alongside many others in the industry who worked hard to do the same. Our circle of happiness begins with the welfare of our people.

Our aim is to keep the environmental impact of tourism as minimal as possible, so that nature, the surrounding environment, and the town that gives so much to us may continue to flourish for many years to come.

Reducing carbon emissions – We reduce our effect on the ozone through sourcing natural produce from local suppliers, which also shortens the supply chain while conserving energy wherever possible. We also use energy-efficient lighting and energy-efficient heavy appliances.

Water conservation – We are keeping water usage down through best practices and innovation, particularly through eco-friendly cleaning products that minimize reliance on chemical detergents. Devasom Hua Hin also encourages guests to conserve water and energy.

Minimizing single-use plastics – Since 2021, we have rejected single-use plastics and opted for more environmentally friendly alternatives across packaging, including drinking water bottles, food containers, and amenity bottles. We also work closely with partners and suppliers to reduce plastic use throughout our supply chain.

At Devasom Hua Hin, responsible waste management is a shared daily practice guided by care, discipline, and respect for our surroundings. We actively sort and recycle waste wherever possible to reduce environmental impact.

Eco-friendly food management – We have carefully optimized food logistics and preparation to minimize waste. Nothing is simply discarded. Food waste is responsibly redirected to local animal shelters and rescue centers.

Engaging environmentally friendly products – The use of organic and eco-conscious products allows Devasom Hua Hin to reduce chemical use across our restaurants, buildings, and gardens. A key step forward has been achieved through produce from our own organic garden.

Beach cleaning – Every morning, the Devasom Hua Hin team takes part in keeping the beach clean as part of our daily routine. This helps preserve the natural beauty of the shoreline and supports the health and safety of marine life.

Family-friendly coastal experiences – Families and children are invited to enjoy simple seaside activities such as complimentary sand play sets and gentle horse riding along the beach. These experiences encourage a natural connection with the coastal environment and reflect Hua Hin’s relaxed seaside way of life.

Culinary Journey – At our restaurant, PRIBPRI Heritage Table, we use only authentic traditional Phetchaburi recipes. Our team studies the culinary heritage and local food traditions of Phetchaburi, a province recognized as a UNESCO City of Creative Gastronomy, and brings these stories and flavors to our restaurant’s refined tables to create an extraordinary culinary experience.

Devasom Hua Hin experience activities – From Mindfulness Yoga sessions and Himalayan Healing Sound Bath Therapy to Muay Thai and Thai cooking classes, as well as curated cultural day trips, our thoughtfully designed activities showcase the enriching wisdom of the East while preserving it through lived experience.
