Devasom Hua Hin Resort is the original Devasom: a small luxury beach resort of 24 rooms on an idyllic private beach between Cha-am and Hua Hin, open since 2010 and built in the Thai-Victorian style of the summer homes that made Hua Hin the first seaside resort of Siam. Its sister resort, Devasom Khao Lak, followed on the Andaman coast in 2018.

Serenity is luxury: a small, romantic beach resort in the old seaside charm of Hua Hin.

HERITAGE, PRIBPRI AND WELLNESS

Hua Hin became Siam’s first seaside resort after the railway reached it in 1909, and there the kings and noble families built summer houses along its beach. Devasom’s gingerbread-trimmed mansion and villas take their style from those houses, down to the clawfoot bathtubs, panelled walls and carved wooden trims.

PRIBPRI Heritage Table serves the dishes of Phetchaburi, a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy, from palace-style khao chae to rose-apple salad. Sunrise yoga, sound-bath sessions and romantic five-course dinners by the sea run through the week, and a Thai team that has welcomed guests here since 2010 looks after the rest.

Cute dollhouse ‘motel’ for short stay
