Happiness Grows When Shared

PHANG NGA, THAILAND – This festive season Devasom Khao Lak Beach Resort continues its heartfelt commitment to community engagement with the return of the Devasom Happy Bus, bringing holiday magic, joy and meaningful connections to Phang Nga School For Life. Marking its third consecutive year in 2025, the initiative reflects Devasom’s belief that happiness is most powerful when shared.

Taking place on Tuesday, 23 December 2025, the Devasom Happy Bus will arrive at Phang Nga to celebrate the season with 69 young students who may otherwise not have the opportunity to experience a traditional Christmas celebration. Together with resort guests and local partners from the Khao Lak community, Devasom aims to pass cherished festive memories filled with warmth, laughter and togetherness.

True to its playful spirit, the Happy Bus will deliver festive surprises and interactive entertainment under this year’s theme Nature Explorer. Children will be welcomed by Santa Claus and cartoon characters, followed by a joyful programme of activities including a magic show, fresh popcorn, cotton candy and cookies. The day is designed not only to entertain, but to foster connection and shared moments between the children, their teachers and the wider community.

“Giving back to the local community is one of our key sustainability pillars at Devasom,” said Is Atirak, Co-founder of Devasom Resorts and General Manager of Devasom Khao Lak. “The Happy Bus has become one of our holiday season’s traditions – to bring festive gifts and holiday joys to those who wouldn’t otherwise have the advantage of holiday celebrations. The smiles on the children’s faces delight us and remind us every time that happiness grows when shared.”

As the Happy Bus embarks on its third annual journey, Devasom Khao Lak once again demonstrates that the true spirit of the season lies not in celebration alone, but in creating happiness that is shared, heartfelt and enduring.
